Watch the episode below:

Avenger Logistics is based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. It is one of the fastest-growing brokerages in North America. The company boasts some of the most talented and knowledgeable brokers, proven consulting excellence, a large and assorted network of shippers, multiple shipping modes, less-than-truckload, Hotshot Shipping, and a cradle to grave approach.

Avenger Logistics employees use SONAR data, analysis and insight to serve their clients, maintain margin and grow the Avenger business. In this specialized brokerage environment, Avenger staff utilize SONAR for market analysis, lane optimization and sales efficiency on a daily basis.

According to Roberts, the Avenger team uses SONAR heat maps, weather forecasts, road conditions, gauge charts, the Outbound Tender Volume Index (OTVI) on an ongoing basis. Providing easy-to- understand data from SONAR charting to client-facing employees allows those staff members to be more responsive, efficient and profitable. Moreover, Avenger uses SONAR as a teaching tool for the company’s less experienced brokers.
